Celebrated Kenyan musician Akothee has opened up about her struggles to finish school.

How did Omosh help Akothee?

Akothee noted that she had taken care of people around her for so long that she forgot about herself.

She got emotional and cried, remembering all the people she had helped who talked ill of her.

"14 years is that short. The only thing is that I never diverted from my belief. When someone or people you have supported, helped you have given everything come and tell you 'you know what I am better than you..."

The musician also thanked her estranged husband, Omosh, noting that he had helped her with her journey to graduation.

Akothee revealed that when she met her ex, they moved to the village, and that gave her a conducive environment to study.

"Having met my ex-husband helped me finalise my degree. With that, I gave him an applause because when we settled in the village, I was very calm, and I could embark on my studies. Babe, I went into a classroom without a mwakenya and everything was flowing because my emotions were arrested. I was okay, and I was happy.:"

Akothee's expansive farm

The musician showed off her huge Rongo property, and as usual, she did not shy away from showing off her vast farm and palatial home.

She surveyed the grounds, making observations and giving instructions to the property's managers on the changes she would like made.

Akothee advised single mothers to invest in homes for themselves and their children, just as she did if they were to enjoy a comfortable life.

"For all the single mothers in the house, it's time we organise ourselves. I told you as a single mother in 2024, if you can't build a mansion, build something small for you and the babies. So you can have a small kitchen garden....this is called a kitchen garden..look at how my kitchen garden looks. I don't buy courgettes. I don't buy potatoes...I don't need to buy vegetables," she said.
