Celebrated Kenyan musician Akothee has paraded her luxurious bathroom.

In December 2023, Akothee happily welcomed her sons to Kenya as she shared a video of her picking them up at the airport after coming back from France, where they live with one of her baby daddies.

While sharing the video of her welcoming her sons on her Instagram page, Akothee said:

"You think you have challenges in co-parenting? Wait until he boycotts the rules given by the law. The same court he took himself to. I thank God for Baba Oyoo, the mediator, huyu mwingine angekuwa amenizika. (This other one would have buried me). The babies have arrived."

Inside Akothee's bathroom

The musician has been enjoying time with her sons and daughters upcountry, and in a video, she paraded her luxe bathroom.

Her sons were playing in her jacuzzi with some of their friends, and Akothee playfully scolded them for using her bathroom.

Netizens in the comment section shared their surprise at the musicians' magnificent shower room.

It had black marble tiles that reflected on the walls, and apart from the jacuzzi, there was a see-through shower room.

Why Akothee wants sons off phone

In a separate story, Akothee, who was eating, asked her sons to switch off their phones so that they could enjoy the surroundings.

This comes days after she announced she was taking a social media break but failed to keep up with it.

"From today until you're going back to Switzerland and Europe, I would like to have your phones in my room. So you can enjoy the village. I mean, you cannot just lock yourself in the bedroom. When people come to the village they visit family, they walk aroundand see your cousins, you will have your phone. I need you guys to go and harvest the eggplants," she said.

Her son, Alfons, tried to negotiate and resist the idea while telling his mum that he knew neither she nor his eldest sister would be off their phones.

"This is vacation, not hard labour. I'm getting my mum grandkids," he said.
