Musician Kevin Bahati and his wife, Diana Marua, have entertained netizens with a funny spat over an anniversary gift.

Bahati reacts to Diana's gifts

In a video shared on Diana's YouTube, she excitedly disclosed her plan to surprise her husband, Bahati, with an anniversary gift.

The idea was to thank him for the seven gifts he gave her on their seventh anniversary to mark their seven years together.

The lady of the house revamped their shared home, making stylish changes to surprise Bahati.

However, despite Bahati's initial happiness upon seeing the changes, he wasn't entirely impressed with this gift.

According to him, Diana had used the guise of gifting him as an excuse to treat herself.

"My wife has gifted herself telling me it's my gift," he complained.

An unrelenting Diana then revealed that she had two other gifts in store for him.

She presented him with an iPhone 15 pro max, which had the opposite effect.

Unimpressed, Bahati disclosed that she had repacked the same phone he bought her on their anniversary and returned it to him.

"This is worse than being bought socks and a wallet," he said.

Next, she gave him a smartwatch, which he was content with, reasoning that it was new.

"You should have just skipped to gift number three," he hilariously remarked.

Bahati and Diana's humourous banter

While the video ended at that point, the banter between the couple continued on their Instagram accounts.

Bahati expressed his disappointment about being given the regifted iPhone.

Diana playfully teased him on her end, saying she would not surprise him again.

Meanwhile, Bahati replied:

Bahati buys Diana Range Rover

In October, Bahati surprised Diana with a new Range Rover as his seventh-anniversary gift to her.

In a video shared on Diana's YouTube channel, the musician took people down memory lane when she bought his wife different cars.

He explained that he bought her a Mercedes Benz to alternate with their Prado while taking the kids to school because they refused to use the bus.

He also bought her a different car for their fifth anniversary, which he said was the fifth gift for their five-year union.

"We are no longer five years, God has perfected our marriage. I decided, because seven is a spiritual number, a perfect number, a special number, to give her seven gifts.

He took her on a helicopter ride to where the car was packed and handed her the keys.
