Comedian Eric Omondi has announced the sudden passing of baby Dylan.

How did Dylan die?

Mourning the death, Omondi said Dylan died after a fight bravely borne.

Dylan had a cancerous growth in his eye and was flown to India in late 2023 for specialised treatment.

Earlier reports indicated that Dylan was responding well to treatment after surgery.

"We have lost Dylan. We gave it our best. This one hit differently. I was hopeful, but God has his plans. We keep the family in prayer. Rest with the angels, champ," mourned Omondi.

Saddened by the passing, Kenyans condoleed with the family and celebrate Dylan's life.

Highlighting collective compassion in times of need, many vowed to support the family in laying the baby to rest.

How did Pyden Mudoga die?

Dylan's death comes months after Pyden Mudoga, a child whom Omondi also helped raise funds for treatment passed on.

Baby Pyden died after a brave battle with cancer. The one-month-old baby had a cancerous growth in his jaw.

Omondi's efforts rallied Kenyans to raise KSh1.4 million for Pyden's treatment.

Amid grief, Omondi decried the state of healthcare in the country and called for reform.
