Struggling with alcohol

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke from his home, Othoche said one of his biggest regrets was giving a deaf ear to his beloved wife.

"Neglecting and ignoring my wife is one of the most regrettable things I did when I was struggling with alcohol. I did not have time for the family. I was primarily in the house because I was drunk. When I was sober, I would stay for a few minutes in the house before going out. She used to get so irritated," the Kajiado man said.

He noted his caring wife blatantly warned him about his drinking habit, but he never listened even once.

Being dragged from bars

She used to drag him from bars and clubs late in the night when he was drunk and could not help himself and would walk with him home.

"She tried her level best to warn me, but when you are an addict, you only want to talk to someone who wants to buy you a bottle," he shared.
