Musundi Tindi, once convicted of murder and currently serving time at Korinda GK prison in Busia County, Kenya, has defied the odds by channeling his passion for singing into a purposeful mission.

Trained as a paralegal within the confines of the prison, Tindi has initiated a groundbreaking project known as "Team Young Masters (TYM)." TYM, a group founded by Tindi, engages inmates in a diverse range of artistic expressions, including music, spoken word, poetry, drama, comedy, and acrobatics.

Notably, Tindi has taken on the role of a mentor, imparting his skills to over 100 fellow inmates, some of whom have completed their sentences and reintegrated into society. Beyond the creative pursuits, Tindi's objective is to identify, nurture, and document talents among the incarcerated youth, aiming to prevent crime and instill values of discipline, respect, and trust.

He actively advises the youth to make wise choices in friendships and resist the pressures of peer influence. Expressing gratitude towards the prison institution for recognizing the potential for rehabilitation through talent development, Tindi is now appealing for support.

He seeks the provision of necessary equipment and advocates for the establishment of a studio within the prison premises.

The envisioned studio would serve as a hub for recording productions, with the intention to generate income by selling copies upon inmates' release.
