A nail-biting drone footage of popular photographer Sam Muchai teetering on the tip of Mövenpick Hotel is giving Kenya's adrenaline junkies a rush.

How did photographer stand atop skyscraper?

Muchai took to dizzying heights this week to showcase the hotel's revolving restaurant on the 24th floor atop the building in the heart of Westlands.

The restaurant offers stunning panoramic skyline views of Nairobi.

The stunning footage shows Muchai fearlessly enjoying the spectacular views of the upscale Westlands neighbourhood while immersing his audience in the scene with breathtaking shots.

"To do what most people can’t, you must be willing to do what most people won’t. It’s not too late in the year to go after your dreams and achieve the impossible," Muchai captioned the video.

The stomach-churning shots of the photographer, while hundreds of feet in the air, made some of his followers dizzy.

@_karashj:

"Eeeh? I see you have started.”

@philo_mckenzie:

“You don’t fear getting struck by lightning.”

@kunaste:

"The boomerang quick shot, which drone did you use? Any filters?"

Madebypriest:

"One word, kanjo.”

@isaiahlangat:

"Wow.”

While the stunt is risky, Muchai was likely strapped to the tower by his feet or wore a harness.

How did Remi Lucidi die?

In August 2023, French stuntman Remi Lucidi, 30, plunged to death from the 68th floor of a Hong Kong skyscraper.

Lucidi was climbing the Tregunter Tower complex in Hong Kong when he lost his balance, fell off and died.

He allegedly gained entry by deceiving a security guard that he was there to see a friend residing on the 40th floor.

The stuntman, however, proceeded to the 49th floor, where he forced open a door.

Witnesses reported that he was spotted knocking on the tower's windows, attempting to seek help, before plunging to his death.
