A Kenyan posted images on the X platform, showing a mansion still under construction, inviting comments from Kenyans who could identify the problem.

"The owner has just posted this on Facebook with the caption 'It has costed me 3.73M so far.' I choose to be silent and let you talk if you happen to see it," @Bossyator, who identifies as an expert in building and design, posted on X

How Kenyans reacted

By the way, is there a way to sue engineers and constructors who build houses like this? Is it the owner who has accepted this, and if that is so, how can he be okay in a house like this without columns surely.

@LlewellynOuya

Building is costly boss.

@NomicsKenya

I pity most people in the comment section. This thing has no columns. It's standing on the promises of God. I would never wish to work on this site. Ticking time bomb. Anyway, inanyoroshwa na plaster.

People asking for columns in a G+1 house. It is not a must!

@mrefu_juma said:

Am hoping those blocks were tested for their strengths to be used for load-bearing walls. Otherwise that house will be full of cracks after plaster.

@bnakuti said:

Very much possible. Excavation for that black cotton, foundation slab around 1.5M. All wallings around 1 M., then shutter (beams, koroga etc) ground & 1st floor, piping (elec, plumbing etc) around 1.23M.

@Alexmbeka

This is poorly done, and to make it worse, I can't see the columns.

Architect stuns villagers with unique round-shaped mansion

Earlier on TUKO.co.ke, a creative architect earned the admiration of netizens for building a round house for himself in the village.

His construction masterpiece became public knowledge after his daughter, @sharonoreoluwa__, showed it off on TikTok.

A proud @sharonoreoluwa__ wrote, "love this house so much, it is so cozy and cute."
