Kenyans working in Kuwait have taken to TikTok to express their delight over the rising exchange rate, which they said they are benefitting from.

In a TikTok video that has since gotten lots of reaction, a Kenyan man said he and his compatriots are in joy over the current exchange rate, which has them smiling all the way to the bank.

In the clip, the worker used a funny sound in his clip to explain how, as Kenyans complain about the current economic crisis, he is enjoying every waking moment working in Kuwait.

"In Kuwait, the rate keeps rising as one Kuwait Diner is KSh 498," he said.

How to get Kuwait jobs

In the comments of the clip, Kenyans who work in the Gulf country, shared the same feeling, while others asked for connections to get jobs in the same country.

"My salary is 100KD," one Kenyan said.
"Please share how you got these Kuwait jobs," Mercy Mwanika said.

"200kd is now KSh 100k," Rammy Rammirez commented.

"But let's be realistic, the cost of living here is quite high," Marory said.

Other Kenyans also commented on other factors that make their stay in Kuwait exciting, such as the spicy food.

"It's so hot, but it is the best," the Kenyan TikToker said.

Kenyans in Kuwait are also enjoying working in the country as it has the strongest currency in the world due to the country's economic stability.

Kenyan man working in Qatar returns

In other news, a Kenyan man who returned from Qatar built himself a lovely simple house months after returning to the country.

Hesbon Mogusu was proud and elated with himself after he managed to put up the mud-walled house, which is still under construction.

"It is only true savings, as I was in Qatar for two years, and I sacrificed a lot to save. I bought land and it has cost me KSh 100,000 so far, he said. While in Qatar, I worked in the factory first and then worked as a construction worker," he said.
