Kelly added that the furious man broke into tears and decided to block the pick-up from leaving the home.

According to the journalist who shared the video, the man started offloading the household items while pleading with the woman to reconsider him.

"The woman tried reaching out to police officers to intervene and to stop the man but was unsuccessful," he said.

Merry-go-round money?

A video shared on Facebook by Kelly sparked mixed reactions, with many of his followers concluding the woman bought the items with money from merry-go-round groups.

"This is the month when women feel superior because they've earned chama money. A small misunderstanding and they pack whatever they bought," read one of the comments.
"That is why I am buying everything in my house, including the cooking stick," another man added.

Meanwhile, members of the public who had gathered to witness the drama watched from a distance, maintaining that they couldn't interfere as the couple would sort out their issues.

Kakamega man sets family house on fire
