Mali Safi Crooner Millicent Jerotich has opened up about her struggles as an upcoming artist.

Why Mali Safi Singer wants a car

The gospel singer noted that the more she strayed away from God, the more she faced challenges such as sleeping hungry and missing out on rent payments.

After she went viral, Jerotich revealed that her church members wanted her to go back to church.

The musician noted that her life has changed ever since her song went viral.

"I want to go back to church, Premio, come baby come. My life has changed since I have never dressed up like this. It's because of the favour from fans and their love. As we talk, this phone has money over KSh 300,000.
They are planning to buy me a car before New Year's Eve. They have contributed. They want me to buy that car and come back to church. The point is for me to go back to church. The owners of the Rock Hotel in Eldoret called me recently on Friday night and paid for my taxi. They also gave me KSh 80,000 and told me to buy the car and go back to church."

TUKO.co.ke reached out to the singer to ask why she would prefer a car to land or a house, and she replied:

"To access events fast. More prayers, kindly, I want that car soon before New Year."

Jerotich on her song going viral

In a separate story, Jerotich said she prayed and was given three songs, including Mali Safi Chito, in 2021, and she asked God to help her.

The Eldoret-based singer said she didn’t release the song until recently because she didn’t have studio money.

She was surprised by the song’s popularity on TikTok and YouTube, and thanked her fans for their love and support.
