In the letter, the young girl said,

"Dear daddy, I sincerely appreciate the Lord for everything you are to my life. You have made me have hope of finally changing the story of my family. We love you so much, I cherish you too."

Girl comes from broken family

In the letter, the girl revealed that her mum and dad had separated, and since then, she had never felt the love and presence of a father in her life.

"Thank you because you have given me all the love, care, and attention I need from a father. You occupy a really big space in my heart and never will I forget what you have done in my life. May God bless daddy," read the letter.
"What would you have done if the letter was addressed to you," posed a tearful Nyoro.

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke. Nyoro said that he mentors the kids through his organisation.

"We take care of our Watoto Wasome program beneficiaries. Everyone is given the attention they deserve, it's a full package," said Affecto founder.

Mentorship programme by Affecto

"Every holiday we organise a mentorship workshop for all our students from across the country to share their experiences. We also bring our students who have graduated from the program and are in universities to bond and share experiences with them. We then bring professionals to train them on specific subjects that are key for their growth," shared the hands-on Nyoro who also had students and their parents at his office to review 2023 academic perfomance.
"Our support is student specific. We ensure they are covered for school-related needs but also for those at the bottom, we extend support to their households. Sometimes we set up income generating projects for their mothers to support other children in their households," continued the Nyoro adding that mentorship for the learners is our core component of the entire scholarship programme.
