Starlet Wahu: Pastor Kanyari Discloses Family Had Not Met Man Allegedly Linked To Sister’s Death

Pastor Kanyari has opened up after the death of his sister, Starlet Wahu.

Who killed Starlet Wahu?

Wahu had checked into an Airbnb apartment in South B, Papino, with a man identified as John Matara.

The two had booked the place for a romantic getaway, but things took a tragic turn when Starlet was stabbed multiple times in her thighs by her alleged lover.

According to the police, Wahu bled to death from the wounds, while Matara fled the scene with a stab wound of his own.

He was later arrested at Mbagathi Hospital, where he had gone to seek treatment.

Pastor Kanyari speaks on sister's death

In an interview with Nairobi News, pastor Kanyari spoke of his sister's untimely death.

The man of God revealed that the man captured with his sister on the CCTV video had not met Starlet's family.

Kanyari noted that it was truly a sad time for the family, as they were heartbroken upon learning of their sister's death.

“I am heartbroken; she was doing so well in life. We last met on Christmas, and on December 31, we spent time together at home. We had not seen the man before. We learned about him after her death. This is so tragic for us, the family, and even her friends. May her soul rest in peace,” he said.

In June 2023, Kanyari's mother, the founder of Salvation Healing Ministry, turned 59 years old and celebrated her day in style.

Prophetess Lucy Nduta's children threw her a flashy birthday party, which was held at their palatial Nairobi home along Kangundo Road.

The prophetess wore a floral top and black trousers to her party, and she cut her birthday cake with one of her sons and a grandson.
