The text message details the suspect's transgressions and plans to take his own life.

“At around 22.35 hours, we got a report from the suspect’s brother that he had received a suicidal text message from his elder brother. The message also had details of his wife’s murder,” Kooli said.

According to the message written by the suspect and seen by TUKO.co.ke, the suspect asked his brother not to inform his son about the death of his mother once he was done with exams.

In the text, he further directed his brother to sell a piece of land and take care of his son after his mother's burial.

The suspect allegedly travelled to Nyandurua county where he attempted to take his own life before he was saved and arrested by the police.

“The suspect is being monitored before being taken in to answer for murder charges,” Kooli added.

Dandora man kills wife

In another sad news, a note that a Dandora man who attacked and killed his wife left his first-born son before surrendering to the police emerged on social media.

Tobias Nzola is believed to have killed his wife, Agnes Kanini, on Wednesday, June 21, and went to fetch the police to show them her remains.

A note shared by Inooro FM now shows that the man also wrote his firstborn child a note after allegedly committing the heinous crime.

In the note, he instructed his firstborn to use the money in his phone to educate their younger sibling, further explaining that he killed their mother because he was angry at her.
