In a remarkable turn of events, comedian Eddie Butita is celebrating a personal achievement as he starts a new chapter of his life by enrolling at the United States International University (USIU).

After graduating high school, financial constraints and life's demands took precedence, delaying Butita's dream of pursuing higher education.

However, he remained steadfast in his ambition and reflected on his journey.

Butita shared:

"Back to School, It has taken me 12 years to get to university Wueeh poverty is a bad thing, you know what? I'm happy and my family is happy."

Butita's father encouraged him

According to the heartwarming post, words of encouragement from Butita's father served as a guiding light throughout his journey.

"ata wewe unaona mambo ni magumu, jaribu jaribu tu, mambo inaweza kuwa sawa Mungu afungue njia, na ikiwa sawa ata hiyo university utajipeleka siku moja," he quoted his father.

According to him, he had done his best and as much as he could in educating him.

Today, as he sets foot on the USIU campus, Butita's journey is a living testament that with perseverance, dreams can be realised, no matter the circumstances.

Even in the face of bureaucratic hurdles, Butita and his family remain steadfast.

"Kumbe siku moja ilikua ni leo," he joyfully exclaimed, emphasising that it's never too late to pursue one's aspirations.
" We are here to lay the Last nail on poverty even if they ask for papers we shall provide," he boldly stated, encapsulating his determination to break barriers and inspire others in his community.

As Eddie Butita begins this new phase of his life, he not only embodies the spirit of resilience but also paves the way for others to follow suit.

His journey from the comedy stages to the university lecture hall serves as an inspiration to his fans and anyone who has faced obstacles on their path to education and personal growth.

Butita overjoyed after acquiring new Jaguar

Earlier in the year, Eddie Butita celebrated on social media after acquiring a luxury vehicle.

On Friday, March 9, the scriptwriter and comedian shared images posing next to a white Jaguar XE sedan. Butita celebrated the acquisition by giving credit to God.

"It’s God, nothing is impossible.”

Butita then appeared on 2mbili’s YouTube channel to speak about the vehicle made by Land Rover.

He recounted back when he was staying in Kariobangi, Nairobi, and had to trek for long distances.
