Kabi Wajesus and his wife, Milly, have joined a viral trend that has divided Kenyans online.

Diana Marua and Bahati were the first Kenyan couple to pull off the trending challenge, and the Wajesus joined them.

Kabi posted a video showing them leaving their home when Milly asked him to hold her handbag so she could wear her shoes.

The moment she gave Kabi the handbag, he transformed into a woman. The video was edited to show him wearing a yellow dress, wig, lipstick and heels.

He acted like a girl while adjusting his clothing, with his antics attracting backlash from a section of Kenyans.

Milly defended herself by asking netizens not to blame her for the video.

"Hii imeenda aki. Don’t blame me for this one," she wrote.

"This is why I stopped carrying my wife’s handbag. Someone, please explain to me what just happened," Kabi captioned the clip.

Kenyans called them out for aping Bahati, as numerous women said he looked good in the dress. However, others were unamused:

On Tuesday, July 18, Bahati and his wife, Diana, shared a similar skit showing him holding a handbag for her.

“Ladies, this is how your man feels when you give him your handbag to hold for you. Babe, let everyone carry their belongings,” he captioned it.

The video attracted backlash from a section of Kenyans, but he was unbothered.

“You are bashing me, yet I look hotter than your girlfriend," he hit back.
