Mugithi singer Samidoh Muchoki has released a new song, Wendo, featuring songstress Joyce wa Mamaa, and fans cannot get enough of it.

Is Samidoh trying to get back Edday?

In the song, the father of five is trying to convince his wife to stay after they had a misunderstanding, reminding her of how far they have come.

He encourages her not to give up on him now that they have been together since they had nothing. He revealed he went to ask her parents for her hand in marriage, and it won't sit well with them if they learn of their separation.

"I am asking you to come back home so we can raise these kids," Samidoh said in the song.

Although the Mugithi singer is yet to reveal if the song is dedicated to his estranged wife, his fans commented on the video saying the song was meant for her.

Karen Nyamu talks about being in polygamous relationship

The nominated senator shared a photo of her in a blue suit, and a fan commented on it, asking her if she had listened to Samidoh's song, Wendo.

"Umeskiza Wendo witu by Samidoh akiimbia Edday (Have you listened to Samidoh's song, which he dedicated to Edday)? I love the vocals," the fan wrote.

Responding to her, Samidoh's baby mama posed:

"Polygamy bado mnaona mkiepuka? (Do you think you can escape from polygamy)?"

Commenting on Nyamu's comment, fans said she meant Edday will have to agree to a polygamy marriage if she wants to keep Samidoh.

Edday not ready for polygamous marriage

In February, Edday revealed she had been married to Samidoh for 15 years, but the last three years had been nothing but pain.

In a lengthy Facebook post, Edday narrated how she and her husband had been married for 15 years.

She noted that she had been faithful to him in all their years of marriage, but the past three years were full of pain.

Edday said the singer had taken her silence for granted and humiliated her on social media.

"It has been exactly 15 years of marriage full of ups and down. It was a humble beginning where little was enough for us, but for the last three years it has been nothing but pain. I have remained faithful to you regardless of disrespect, humiliation, and being trolled on social media. You’ve made me look dumb and took my silence for granted," her message read in part.

She recalled the times she helped him nurture his talent as they were high school sweethearts.

The musician's wife noted that she wouldn't raise her kids in a polygamous marriage and accused Nyamu of lacking morals.

"I have helped you nature your talent and supported you through it all, but one thing I have said to you, and I am saying here again, I will not raise my kids in a polygamy family. Especially with a woman who is older than me by more than 10 years and has no morals and zero respect for my family."
