A Kenyan man who lives and works abroad has achieved his dream of building a beautiful home in his home country.

The man, identified as @mjoro on TikTok, shared his inspiring journey of constructing his own bungalow from scratch.

"Kutoka foundation my guy nimekua rada (Started it from the foundation, been on it)," said the hardworking man.

In a viral video on the social media platform, he shared a slide show of the different stages of his house’s development, from offloading building blocks and digging the foundation to putting the finishing touches.

The video had the sentimental song Mishe Mishe by Caetano, which addresses the importance of working hard.

Woman build houses after moving abroad

In another inspiring story, a woman who moved abroad built beautiful homes four months after relocating to Korea.

The woman, identified as @mamnisi1 on TikTok, proudly showed off the rental houses in a captivating video.

Mamnisi happily declared that she was now a landlady at the age of 24, courtesy of her stay in the Asian country.

"Thinking that I had to take depression medicine because of unemployment. God pulled through for me. Take this as motivation black child, not bragging," she said on TikTok.

She mentioned that the unfinished parts of the house were almost being done, and the houses would be ready for occupation by tenants.
