An Eldoret funeral home has advertised several positions, and Kenyans have expressed interest in filling them.

What morgue jobs are available at Delights?

Delights Funeral Directors, run by Harrison Muchiri and his wife Mary Giita, said they had several job vacancies.

The post on their Facebook page said the funeral home needed 10 coffin makers, 10 coffin painters and a mortician.

“Being a lady is an added advantage,” read the post.

The funeral home also seeks to hire an events planner and human resource manager with three years of experience.

They also advertised the position of an accountant with five years of experience in statutory deductions and bank reconciliations.

The last position advertised was that of a quality assurance officer to oversee the coffin production

The closing date for applications was set for Tuesday, September 5.

What hearses does Delights Funeral Directors own?

In other news, TUKO.co.ke reported on the fleet of hearses owned by the funeral home.

They included a Jaguar, Toyota Landcruiser and Mercedes Benz.

However, their showstopper is Range Rover limousine hearse. The vehicle was originally a Range Rover Velar before the chassis was elongated to make a limousine.

It features two butterfly doors that open up, showing the casket. The vehicle is worth well over KSh 15 million.
