The Kiambu boda boda rider who recently moved many after TUKO.co.ke recently aired his story on how he built his own house has celebrated after he was awarded a brand ambassadorial deal.

Kahii Ga Cucu inspired many Kenyans after he shared how he managed to build his house worth more than KSh 1 million after hustling as a boda boda rider.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Kahii said since the airing of the story, he had become a brand ambassador for a real estate company which read his inspiring story of strength, hard work and kindness.

This is because besides being a boda rider, Kahii has also been feeding the needy and street children and also engaging in other philanthropic acts.

An excited Kahii said:

"After the story you covered, especially on how I feed street children, pay fees for the bright but needy kids, and clear hospital bills for the sick through my TikTok channel, the company decided to award me with the one-year contract brand ambassadorial deal."

He said he will perform the role for the next one year.

The company was moved by the rider's initiative of giving back to the community, as he started an initiative to feed street children twice a week.

Kahii builds mabati house

In an interview on July 1, 2023, Kahii exclusively narrated to this writer how he managed to build a lovely mabati house that cost him over KSh 1 million.

It was while working as a body boda rider that he started purchasing iron sheets to build his own home.

Having been raised in challenging conditions, Kahii wanted the security of having a home that he could call his own.

"It may be a mabati house, but I actually spent over a million because it has a specific design, as you can see. I also furnished it with quality furniture and appliances to give me the comfort that I desired as a child," he said.
