Appearing in court on Tuesday, August 8, Vincensia Juma, a registrar and also an advocate at the Ministry of Lands, told the court that she had documents to prove the 11.8 acres parcel of land was under the ownership of Gidjoy Investments.

Juma stated that she had a certificate of land titles and white cards showing that the land indeed belonged to Gidjoy.

"The current owners in all the property mentioned is Gidjoy investment Ltd, I ask this court to place this documents as exhibits," said the registrar.

Another witness, Oscar Munyasia, a police officer attached to a police station in Buruburu, told the court that on March 27, 2018, he was called by his boss, informing him about ten people who had trespassed at a private property.

He listed the 10 as; Benita Alando Nathaniel, Peter Keya Owino, David Mutuku Makau, Kennedy Odhiambo Alex, Titus Ochieng Okoth, Boniface Oduor Anyiego, Calvince Ochieng Ooko, Patrobas Awino, Nick Omondi Owango and Philemon Otieno.

They were accused that on March 27, 2018, they maliciously damaged a perimeter wall valued at KSh 144,000 at Donholm Estate.

They also faced a further count, where they were accused of entering the said parcel of land, the property of Gidjoy Investment, violently by chasing away security guards while armed with crude weapons.
