Renowned radio presenter Maina Kageni is undoubtedly among the fortunate celebrities who can trace their roots to a privileged background.

While celebrity status often brings luxury, for Kageni, the association with opulence runs even deeper; being part of a well-off family has given him the advantage of never experiencing life without a car.

The radio personality provided a clear glimpse into his life's vehicular journey in a TikTok video that has now found its way onto Instagram via SPM Buzz.

Kageni paused to consider his lifelong relationship with cars, revealing a rich family history in the automotive industry.

"I have never been alive without a car," Kageni disclosed in the video.

The Classic 105 host's recollections didn't stop there. He offered a peek into a cherished memory of his father's car, a Peugeot 504.

"My dad's car was a Peugeot 504," he said.

Kageni proud to have met various presidents

Earlier, the radio host disclosed he has interacted with various Kenyan presidents at a personal level.

Kageni divulged he had met various African presidents like Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni, the late Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe, and South African former president Jacob Zuma.

He said former Zambian president Edgar Lungu was a good friend, and they used to talk o the phone for hours.

Kageni admitted he has a few regrets, one of which is that he never met the second president of Kenya, Daniel Toroitich.

Speaking with content creator Melvin Andati:

"That is one of my biggest regrets , I wish I did as I would have wanted to know how his mind worked."

Interacting with Mwai Kibaki

Kageni went to the same school as Kibaki's children.

They enjoyed each other's company as they picked their brains regarding business interaction for pleasure.

He said:

"I knew Kibaki when he was still an opposition figure. We used to play golf in Muthaiga. He was a golfer. The first time we met I was really young."
