He assured his fans that he valued their dedication, regardless of the unusual ways they might choose to show it.

The warning came in response to the incident involving Dem wa Murang'a, a woman who had Sonko's face tattooed on her legs.

"I have seen many ladies with tattoos of my face on their private parts. I love you as my fans but please, I will still love you without those tattoos. Because your body belongs to you and your husband. You don't have to expose it," Sonko said.

Sonko vows to support Dem wa Muranga

He promised to support Dem wa Murang'a and urged other fans to refrain from the habit.

"However, I will look for Dem wa Murang'a and support her because she is my loyal supporter. But stop getting those tattoos," he added.

What inspired Murang'a lady to get Sonko's tattoo

Previously, the 31-year-old woman revealed that she loved Sonko for his charitable works.

In an interview with Nicholas Kioko, Maryanne Njoki disclosed that Sonko helped out her aunt.

She said she does not want money from the politician.

For her, only a warm hug from Sonko would calm her.

"I was not even thinking of meeting him when I got the tattoo. I heard that he asked for my number. When I meet him, I would tell him that I love him for his work and he should not tire because there are so many people who still need his help. I work in a market in Murang'a. If he accepts a hug when we meet I would be happy the ones who would talk let them talk... a tight one."
