Saturday, August 26, was a beehive of activities, and several politicians converged in Bungoma county, to witness Moses Wetang'ula's son exchange vows with his longtime partner.

Wetang'ula's son weds Maasai lover

The National Assembly Speaker's son, Alvin Wetang'ula and his lover, Naisula Leteipan, tied the knot in a glamourous wedding ceremony that has been the talk of the town.

Alvin's groomsmen team was made up of his friends, who wore matching green outfits and black shoes.

Among the politicians who attended included health CS Nakhumicha, CS Moses Kuria, Kajiado governor Ole Lenku, Bungoma governor Ken Lusaka, politicians Ole Kaparo, Jirongo, Didmus Baraza and Uasin Gishu woman rep Gladys Shollei, who recently got married to Mzungu man.

Wetang'ula, wife make fashion statements

The veteran politician and his wife, Phyllis Ayuma Wetang'ula, sat next to each other during their son's wedding.

Wetang'ula wore a black suit, matching shoes, a white shirt and a green tie that matched the groom's outfit. He also has a stylish black staff stick.

On the other hand, Wetang'ula's little-known wife wore a stylish long green dress, a yellow head wrap and accessorised the look with a stylish goldish necklace and matching earrings. The beautiful woman also showed off her well-done nails, which comprised of emerald green and gold colours.

The two parents were all smiles, and at some point, they were seen having a conversation.

The couple's photos were shared on social media by Bungoma MP Catherine Wambilianga.
