Actor Khaleed Abdul, renowned for his role in the Classmates TV series, has shared how he demonstrated his unwavering commitment to his Muslim faith by turning down a lucrative brand ambassadorial offer.

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, Khaleed revealed he declined a whopping KSh 1.2 million deal from a liquor company, citing his religion's strong stance against the consumption of alcohol.

The talented actor's principled stand reflects his dedication to endorsing products that align with the values of his community and the Muslim religion.

Despite the substantial financial opportunity, Khaleed prioritised his beliefs and convictions above personal gain.

"I recently turned down a KSh 1.2 million brand ambassadorial deal with a liquor company. They wanted to use my image and voice in promoting their products, but I refused because my religion strongly condemns this," Khaleed said.

Khaleed sends lady KSh 19k, she fails to show up

On Thursday, March 7, the actor narrated how he sent about KSh 20,000 to a lady as fare, but she didn't show up.

The thespian revealed he had met the lady on Facebook and they fell in love after a few weeks of communicating.

According to Khaleed, they agreed to meet, and the actor sent his new catch KSh 16,000.

She was supposed to book her ticket to Nairobi and keep the rest for herself.

However, when the lady received the money, she postponed her journey.

"My online dating ended and I can't allow myself to be a victim again. I learnt the hard way. I met a lady on Facebook and we fell in love. She was from Kisumu and I needed to facilitate her travels.
I sent her KSh 16,000 so that she could book her flight and keep the rest. She was to travel the following day but as soon as I sent her money, she changed tune and asked me to give her two more days," Khaleed revealed on his Facebook post.
