Pastor Daniel Mgogo has advised men to buy their wives new clothes and lovely lotions if they want them to glow.

Pastor Mgogo says women glow in new clothes

The famous man of God, while speaking during a recent church service, slammed men who buy their wives second-hand clothes.

"Unataka mke wako apendeze aje na nguo na mtumba? Wanapendeza na nguo za kushusha na kijiti. Zengine wanachukua na ngazi (You want your wife to glow in second-hand clothes? They glow in new clothes bought in boutiques)," he said.

Mgogo said men can buy second-hand clothes for their wives to wear only at home but wear new clothes when stepping out and leave heads turning.

He also advised men to buy lotions and not petroleum jelly for their better halves.

"Leta lotion ya maana mwili ikuwe laini sio mafuta imeganda ya watoto. (Buy her lotion, not petroleum jelly for kids)," he said.

Mgogo against age-gap relationships

Previously, TUKO.co.ke reported that the man of cloth urged young men to marry their age mates, saying they can't get kids with older women because most are done giving birth.

"Mtu ako na miaka 70 unamuita baby na pia yeye anakuita baby (You're in love with someone over 70 years and you call each other baby). Halafu una sema (then you say) age is just but a number? Wacha ujinga (stop that nonsense). Yaani huyo nyanya alicheza na baba zako sasa anataka kumaliza maisha yake na wewe (a woman who is your dad's ahemate wants to marry you)..." he said.

Mgogo went ahead to tell older women preying on young men to let them marry their own.

Gospel singer Guardian Angel is among the few Kenyans married to older spouses, and he's madly in love with his 52-year-old wife, Esther Musila. Others include; award-winning gospel singer Emmy Kosgei, content creator Bernard Musyoki and journalist John Allan Namu.
