The Kilifi-based televangelist disclosed that he pays an extravagant sum for a single haircut, which sets him apart from typical grooming expenses.

While most men would spend between KSh 50 to KSh 300 for a standard haircut in local barbershops, Ezekiel's grooming experience is far from this.

According to the preacher, he pays his barber over KSh 5,000 for a single haircut.

Why does Pastor Ezekiel pay barber KSh 5k?

The exorbitant cost is justified by the convenience of the service, as the barber visits the pastor's location to perform the grooming.

"Ask me how much my barber charges me... My barber charges me over KSh 5,000 because he comes to my place to render the service," he said in a trending video recorded during a church service.

Why is Pastor Ezekiel planning to demolish church?

Previously, the preacher unveiled his plan to demolish his current church and erect a monumental and historic structure.

During a church session, he shared his vision of creating a remarkable religious oasis beyond the conventional.

The new church will be "a gift to God", featuring spiritual sanctity and modern amenities such as restaurants and washrooms.

The man of God revealed his plans to begin the transition by acquiring two tents, one of which will serve as a temporary church while the other will house a restaurant.

"I will soon buy two tents. One will be a temporary church, while the other will be a restaurant. Then I will demolish this church and build a church as a gift to God. A gift that no other pastor will afford to match.

We will erect a historic church here that will be of its kind. You will have all the facilities in the church. The restaurant will be inside here, and even the toilets," he said.
