Mugithi singer Samidoh has shared a cryptic message days after his wife Edday Nderitu's explosive text.

Edday dumps Samidoh

The singer's wife, Edday Nderitu, is in the US with her three kids.

Edday took to social media to dump the singer stating that she was leaving him for someone who needed him the most.

The mother of three noted that she was after peace and the well-being of her kids hence the need to opt for divorce.

"I am not in any polygamous marriage as stated I left the husband for whoever needed him more. I made a decision to remove myself and my kids from that toxic environment especially my teen daughter who unfortunately is direct recipient of unbelievable behaviour displayed …I have managed to sustain my kids needs so far with no help and I am not regretting any bit of it. About communication and video calls I will leave that one there since some people seems to be present when that is happening but I’m not aware. In this new season of my life I don’t need any drama, I need peace only ,I hope next episode of this series my name will be left out," she said.

During an interview with Ala C, Karen Nyamu disclosed that Edday and her husband were still communicating.

The politician noted that despite the distance, the two still video called and texted.

Samidoh seemingly hits at wife

Samidoh, currently on tour in Europe, seemingly addressed Edday dumping him.

The singer noted that people who address issues publicly do it for attention.

"If they can’t privately address you, then understand their public criticism is only for attention. Don’t take it personal," he wrote.

As the singer's Europe tour has kicked off, he is set to thrill his fans across the continent.

Amidst his busy schedule, there are hopes of a family reunion as Samidoh's wife and children might attend the shows, or he may visit them in the US.

An anonymous source close to the singer gave Nairobi News insight into the situation.

"He might not post anything, but either the wife will attend the show or he will visit his family. He is the one who organised their stay there, and we are even surprised to see his wife saying she would not come back," the source said.
