The actress, featured on several local TV series like Kina and Aziza, has a strict policy against on-screen romance.

She said she has never kissed anyone, shown any naked skin, or coupling in any of her playing roles.

According to Tande, these principles are non-negotiable.

"I can't kiss no matter the price. I put it in the category of no nakedness, no intended coupling and no kissing. That one I will not do," Tande said.

Why Tande rejects on-screen romance

Her decision to maintain a family-friendly image in her acting aligns with her cultural background and the values instilled in her by her parents.

She wants to bring her family to premieres without any hesitation because she thinks that her roles should make them proud of her.

"I am an African girl and we have parents who are instrumental in our lives. They watch what we do and you also want to invite them to premiers and you can't be that person on top of a man or just kissing. And that is me," she expressed.

Why did Sanaipei Tande leave Kina series?

Previously, the award-winning actress revealed exhaustion forced her to leave her role in the TV show Kina.

Tande opened up in a lengthy Instagram post where she congratulated Mbeki Mwalimu, who will be assuming the role of Nana Tandala.

She stated that with the demanding nature of the show, it was deemed fit to look for her replacement.
