“Famous people are under pressure to live lavishly, but you should cut your coat according to your cloth.”

According to the media personality, he had debts amounting to KSh 3 million.

“I had two vehicles after approaching a bank for financing.”

Njiru was forced to self-evaluate and make major changes.

“I started seeing what I did not need, I had a huge TV, and I sold it and started reading books. I also sold the more expensive vehicle and moved to a smaller house.”

He used some money to repay the loans while saving for pilot school.

“I got confidence after finishing repaying loans, and work started coming in. I sold people’s dogs and worked as a tour guide, among other jobs.
Pilot school is paid by the hour, and I started saving before starting school.”

Njiru said that by that point, he could care less about what people would say about him.

“We don’t eat or bathe with them You have to keep moving and not listen to people. Listen to yourself.”

His narration inspired numerous Kenyans.

“This is amazing,” wrote one.
“A good one,” added another.
