He expressed his intention to share the entire story once he had the opportunity.

He also thanked his fans for their prayers and support, suggesting he might need assistance with bail or bond if granted the opportunity.

He wrote:

"Hi guys I was arrested and am heading to court. I am accused of assault which isn't true. In case I come out, I will narrate the whole story. Just pray for me, guys. In case I will be issued a cash bail or bond, I will ask for your support."

Why was Mboya disappointed in Simple Boy and Omusula?

On Friday, July 21, the YouTuber hit out at people whose plight he highlighted, and they got assistance but never thanked him.

He singled out Stivo Simple Boy and Leonard Omusula, who got assistance from MPs.

Mboya claimed he was the first to highlight Stivo Simple Boy's plight after wrangles with his management.

After the interview, Mumias East MP Peter Salasya paid KSh 36,000 rent for Stivo, saying it would carter for three months.

Mboya also highlighted the plight of Omusula, famous for the viral ‘jina hutaki’ soundbite on K24.

The YouTuber found Omusula begging in Nairobi streets and shared his story.

His plight touched Butere MP Tindi Mwale, who promised to assist him.

Mwale also shared a meal with Omusula and gave him a tour of his palatial home.

“I raised Stivo Simple Boy’s case he got help from an MP and went without even thanking me. I have raised Leonard Omusula’s case, and he has got help from an MP the same too. The moral lesson is do good and move on,” Mboya wrote.
