A young Kenyan woman who opened a retail shop has showcased how she expanded the business.
TikToker rapidly grows business
TikToker @jewelabby_ke posted a video showing her daily routine and how she grew her investments.
An entrepreneur and dancer, Abby started the day by taking stock at the general shop and cleaning up.

"Dirt attracts the devil, and we don’t have room for him here."
The entrepreneur then opened her newest investment, a beauty shop.
"Thank God for growth," she said while dusting the shelves.
Abby showed how she had diversified her business by setting up a popcorn machine, selling thrift clothes and mandazis outside the shop.
The hardworking woman then lit a jiko, boiled potatoes, and fetched water from a well before cleaning utensils used in the food business.
After all the work, she sat down to enjoy a meal of rice, chapati and green peas.
She reflected on her entrepreneurial journey by thanking God for the growth.
“Time is flying, and I’m right there flying with it. So much to thank God. These lastsix6 months have been nothing short of an adventure.
So many lessons and challenges, but most importantly, so much growth.”
Abby thanked those who supported the business and encouraged her, noting her eyes were set on opening a supermarket.
“I feel so much love and support every day. Abbs Supermarket is unfolding right before our eyes; can you see it? I definitely can!”

The lady said that she started buying her building materials at 18 and had to forgo many luxuries.
According to her, she sometimes cried from how much comfort she was sacrificing to see that she had a home.
