Baba T Threatens To Sue Brian Chira's Grandma After Accusing Him Of Squandering TikToker's KSh 8m

• Baba Talisha took to TikTok to respond to accusations that he squandered part of the KSh 8 million raised for Brian Chira's funeral
• Chira's grandmother went live on TikTok, claiming Baba T and his alleged wife took control of TikToker's cash and even took her phone
• She claimed the two misused the money and even bought her a dress worth KSh 20,000 for the burial, slamming them for buying her grandkids cheaper clothes

Baba Talisha has threatened to take legal action against Brian Chira's grandmother.

Why is Baba T trending?

The drama started when Chira's grandmother went live with Obidan and Nyako, and a few other TikTokers to accuse Baba T of misusing KSh 8 million, which was raised during her grandson's burial.

Chira's grandmother alleged that the photographer, together with his 'wife' Brenda Wanjiku, took control of everything and even had PINs to her M-Pesa and bank account.

She claimed the two were the ones who were receiving money and withdrawing from her accounts for the burial.

Chira's grandmother said after buying a house in Kiambu county, Baba Talisha brought a team to renovate the house, and their quotation was higher than the house's buying price.

Baba T to take legal action

The father of one went live to clear the air, denying all the allegations levelled against him.

Baba T said he was shocked by the claims, accusing Chira's granny of lying to Kenyans.

He said all the money was being sent to her pay bill and she kept checking to confirm the money received.

"She is the one who bought the land and the house. I was only there to make sure the money we fundraised was being used well," he said.

He continued:

"Enyewe asante ya punda ni mateke. People forget the good things you do for them so easily."

During the live, Baba T threatened to sue Chira's granny for defamation.

"That granny is something else. Wameamua kudanganya wacha sasa tupelekana kortini (They have decided to lie, let's meet in court). That is defamation. You cannot lie with my name," emotional Baba T said.

The photographer spilt the beans about the granny's private life, revealing he had all her recordings when purchasing the land.

"She was crying, saying that if she got a piece of land, she would be grateful and build any kind of structure there. Then now she has changed the story. I used to sleep late then now she claims she had no idea I was fundraising for her grandson's burial," he said.
