Bishop Harrison Ng'ang'a Shares Being Arrested For 'Eating' Schoolgirl's Fees: "Siku Ya Mateso"

• It turned out that the girl was an alleged devil worshipper who used to give her money to her masters to avoid sacrificing human beings

Bishop Harrison Ng'ang'a has shared how a young girl who was part of his congregation got him arrested for allegedly helping her squander her school fees.

Why Bishop Harrison Ng'ang'a was arrested

In a video shared on Facebook, the cleric shared that the police officers entered the church and found him ministering to people; they politely waited for him to finish and then asked him to accompany them to the police station.

"I was taken to the police station and I told myself that my goose was cooked. Shortly afterwards, the Officer Commanding Station (OCS) showed me a photo of a girl and asked me if I knew her. I said I know her; she had visited my church in uniform and I had prayed for her several times," said Ng'ang'a.

"The father of the girl was so angry that he had to be held so as not to jump at me. They told me that I was being accused of eating the girl's school fees," he added.

Schoolgirl denies giving Harrison Ng'ang'a money

Ng'ang'a was taken to school to meet the girl and she denied taking her school fees to the renowned pastor.

"I have visited the pastor and both times he is the one who gave me fare to go back home. I have never given him any money," she declared.

The girl, however, refused to tell the police officers where she had been taking money. Later on, she opened up to the cleric.

"The girl told me 'I am a devil worshipper, and instead of sacrificing people, I used to give the school fees I was given. I came to your place to investigate so that I could take you out as well'," said the bishop.

"We finished the case at 2am and the girl told us who she was and what she was doing. That is when the police started calling me bishop again," said the preacher.

In another story, controversial preacher David Gakuyo Ngare alleged his arrest was revenge from unknown political leaders.

He was nabbed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport while he was travelling outside the country.

However, DCI officials aware of his case disclosed that the arrest was made because of his alleged misappropriation of funds from his Sacco members.
