The deceased woman, a newly married wife of a man named Maina, had died under mysterious circumstances, raising alarms within the community.

During the searches, villagers uncovered a bag filled with items that they associate with witchcraft.

The viral video, posted on TikTok, shows a large group of villagers gathered around, examining the bag’s contents.

Photos of locals among things found

Among the disturbing items were snake skins, human hairs, and other objects that sent shivers down the spines of those present.

One woman in the video recognized a photograph in the stash—a picture of a recently deceased woman.

This discovery intensified the villagers' belief that witchcraft was involved in her untimely death. She called on others to confirm her discovery, adding weight to the suspicions.

The chaotic scene escalated as more unusual items were revealed, including more photos of people, some children, and pots containing mysterious concoctions and beards.

Among the most alarming finds were a longhorn and a large black snake.

Pastor urges community to come together

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke about the incident, self-proclaimed prophet Stephen Juma said he was deeply concerned about the recent events in Chwele, Bungoma County.

"In times like these, it is essential to come together in prayer and seek divine guidance. We must remember that fear and suspicion can divide us, but faith and unity will strengthen us," he said
"Let us support one another, reject superstitions, and trust in God's protection. I urge everyone to remain calm and allow the authorities to investigate thoroughly," he added.

Further digging uncovered even more unsettling objects: photos of prominent individuals, including Kijana Wamalwa, along with cow hides, dead cobras, and animal hair.

The presence of these items, the villagers believe, has brought significant trouble to their community.

Man makes KSh 180k to anyone who can use witchcraft

In a separate story, hours after announcing a KSh 42k reward, Ifeanyi Eze increased it to KSh 180k for anyone capable of disappearing and appearing with witchcraft or charms.

A charm (juju) can be described as an object revered by certain West African folks infused with magical power or the magical power itself.

Ifeanyi, a US-based educational consultant, believes charms or witchcraft can't make one disappear and reappear.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, he dared anyone interested to prove him wrong and take the N2 million reward.
