"When I met this boy on Saturday, I asked him what he had planned to do with the money he had earned from selling macadamia nuts. He told me he would buy the family's food.
He also said his father was out looking for food. Later, I found out the boy's father used to work as a watchman at Embu General Hospital until his contract ended suddenly last year. He wasn't paid for six months, got into debt, and couldn't feed his kids. So, the kids are helping him find food to survive. However, the father is still looking for a manual or watchman job," she disclosed in her post.

Elsewhere, politician Omwansa Daniel, also known as Dr Baba Zuri, was over the moon as his mum's three-bedroom house, which would be surrounded by a perimeter wall and entailed unique features, was almost complete.

Dr Baba Zuri found himself on the streets after a bitter fallout between his father and mother, which left his dad in Nairobi while their mum moved upcountry to Kisii.

The young man clawed his way up the ladder until he became independent. He was a banker who also worked as a businessman and politician.
