The comedian actively assisted in carrying the coffins to their final resting places.

Taking to Instagram, Eric expressed his gratitude to his fans, affectionately known as “sisi kwa sisi”, for their generosity.

Together, they raised KSh 1.6 million, ensuring that the seven individuals receive dignified burials.

"Team sisi kwa sisi you did it again! Can you imagine the pain of one family losing seven of its members in one accident? The pain of a man surviving but losing his wife and 3 daughters. It's simply unbearable and overwhelming. Team sisi kwa sisi raised 1.6 million to give these brothers and sisters a decent send-off. God himself will reward you," Eric wrote.

How did 7 family members meet their deaths?

The family members were to board a bus from Mombasa to Nairobi.

Because waiting for a long time was uncomfortable, they opted to board a matatu and travel together as a group.

The vehicle they boarded was ill-fated. It crashed at the Salama area in Makueni, killing seven of them, with others critically injured.

The accident claimed 10 lives overall.

The bodies were transferred to the Umash Funeral Home in Nakuru.
