Why Thika police ruled out report before student's murder

Faith's mother would oblige and send the money; this as they reported the matter to the police.

But the officers at the Thika Police Station ruled out the report, concluding that Faith's tormentors were playing a prank on her family, Citizen TV reported.

On Thursday, May 9, Musembi made his way to his daughter's house, on whose door he found a padlock.

He revealed that he found the door locked, and they forcefully got in with the help of a hacksaw.

"When we got there, we made the point of breaking the padlock door with a hacksaw. We cut the padlock, and we opened the door and was shocked to find my daughter's body and she was already dead and the way I looked at it she was killed."

Was Faith Musembi pregnant?

The girl's body is lying in the Thika General Kago Funeral Home; an autopsy there revealed that she died from an internal haemorrhage.

According to the report, her uterus was bleeding due to abruptio placenta, which is when the placenta separates and causes heavy bleeding.

JKUAT student's death

A few weeks back, a JKUAT student died after falling off a building within the university.

Michael Muoki Mutisya, a first-year computer science student, confided in his parents about the overwhelming challenges he faced, expressing his desire to end his life.

Acting swiftly, his parents rushed to the university and visited him at the Ndovu Hostel (Hall Six), engaging in a conversation where they mutually agreed to address his struggles together at home.

However, while purportedly going to pack his belongings, he slipped away to the restroom, where the unfortunate incident occurred, leading to his traumatising fall.

Muoki was pronounced dead at the JKUAT Hospital, where efforts to save his life had failed.
