Machoka also joined in the celebrations, offering fatherly advice to Nick:

“Congratulations, son! Now come behind the tent and learn a thing or two.”

Machoka lectures people who downplay marriage

Previously, Machoka urged young people who shun marriages to get partners or risk regretting in the future.

In a video he shared on his TikTok page, the veteran media personally shaded men and women who downplay marriage for selfish gains and told them they would not be young forever.

He, however, urged those who are yet to get partners to keep looking, as their situation was different from those who have no desire to get married.

"I am telling people to marry or get married if the time is right. If you are yet to find someone, it's understandable. But stop meandering. (Wacha kuranda randa). You're here saying you don't need a man, you cannot work, what can a man give me? Or you don't need a woman, women are disturbing men. Ujana ni moshi," he said.

Machoka also sang a TBT song about a woman going through hardships and not finding a suitor because she lived life thinking she was going to be young forever.
