Nairobi: The police are investigating the untimely demise of a female entrepreneur discovered dead in her bedroom on Thursday, May 9.

Sheila Wegesha's body was discovered sprawled across her bed with beddings, drenched in blood.

Where is Wegesha's husband?

A crime investigations officer from Athi River sub-county, Wesley Lang'at, stated that they received a report of murder at Hills View Estate on Thursday, May 9.

Upon reaching there, the officers found Wegesha lying on her bed with a dip cut on her throat.

While speaking to Nation, Lang'at said that they had gathered information that the husband of the deceased, Jackson Bambo, had left his matrimonial home at around 1:00 am using the family vehicle, a Mitsubishi Outlander.

"By the time of leaving, it is suspected that he left most probably after the incident had been committed. So the suspect in this case we strongly believe is the husband," Lang'at said.

He further stated that upon carrying out further investigations, they were able to locate the man's vehicle using a tracking device. The vehicle was found at the Nairobi CBD at the KenCom area.

"The man left the car after he had paid for parking. He said that he was headed to the Afya Centre and will be back but he never came back."

Lang'at further stated that they were able to trace the suspect's last signal at Narok at around 6:30a.m on Thursday, May 9.

"It's an indication that the man fled towards Nyanza region. So we are on top of things and we are using every possible means to have the man arrested."

How did Sheila Wegesha die?

Her body was found sprawled on the bedding soaked in blood.

While not officially confirmed, sources suggested that the deceased was a victim of a love-turned-tragic scenario allegedly orchestrated by her husband.

The circumstances surrounding the woman's demise were deeply surprising to acquaintances, particularly given her and her husband's public displays of affection, which often garnered admiration from audiences.
