Nakuru: Former president Daniel Moi's little-known daughter, Doris Moi, has mourned her late sister June as a mum who doted on her daughter, Paula Jepkemoi.

Doris was tasked with reading June's eulogy at the burial service held at Kabarak University, and she was flanked by two of her younger relatives.

Apart from love for her daughter, the mourners were also told that June loved art, sports, business and travelling all over the world.

"She loved fashion and had an exquisite taste for designer wear.

"She loved going to the cinemas to watch movies and her prefered genre were Nollywood moves and Game of Thrones. She also liked filling Sudoku, loved eating spinach, lasagna, kish and chilli," said Doris.

June was laid to rest on at her native home in Bahati, Nakuru county.

Paula Jepkemoi pens a touching message to mum

June's daughter, Paula Jepkemboi, gave a touching tribute to her late mum, stating that she still loved her and will forever miss her.

Her funeral was attended by prominent personalities such as Kalonzo Musyoka, Eugene Wamalwa and David Maraga.

The deceased's body was airlifted from Nairobi to the Kabarak Airstrip, accompanied by the bereaved family.
