Mugithi musician KarehB has remembered her late son, Joe Mwadulo, days after laying him to rest.

KarehB's son perished in a road accident in Kisumu. Until his death, Mwadulo was a student at the iconic Chavakali Boys High School in Vihiga county.

The young man was laid to rest on April 12 in an emotional ceremony attended by family and friends.

KarehB performed a touching tribute at her son's funeral. She noted that she wanted to celebrate her son differently.

Netizens comforted the musician with messages of condolences after her son's burial.

The singer took to social media to share a video of her son dancing. The artiste captioned the video:

"Aki ni memories pekee? Too many questions... But I believe in God. He knows why and may be one day, I'll understand."

Dulo Foundation to help the youth

Before her son's death, KarehB was concerned by the lack of dialogue with young men, and she wondered what would happen to them.

She is set to launch a foundation in honour of her departed son, who worked so hard to change the lives of youth who were into substance abuse.

While eulogising her son, the beloved musician said she would engage her spiritual leaders in ideal ways to make the foundation work for the youth.
