A Kenyan female tout has delighted netizens after a video emerged showcasing her unique morning routine.

What does the lady tout do every morning?

A video shared on TikTok by @jere_kip showed the lady tout in a moving bus praying fervently for her passengers.

It was dark, seemingly quite early in the morning.

A quick check revealed that the tout plies the Mwiki-Kasarani route and the lady always says a word of prayer before collecting fare from her passengers.

In the clip, the tout prays for the success and well-being of everyone aboard.

She prays that each passenger is blessed, asking for divine favour and a prosperous day ahead.

"Tunakupea sifa asubuhi ya leo, tunasema wewe ni mwaminifu..hakuna aliye kama wewe Jehovah asubuhi njema tunanyenyekea chini ya miguu yako mfalme tukiomba kwamba unaweza kutusamia dhambi na makosa yetu mfalme (We give you praise this morning, declaring your faithfulness… there is none like you, Jehovah. We humble ourselves at your feet, King, asking for forgiveness of our sins and mistakes)," she starts.

"Wale ambao wanaenda biasharani waonekanie wape kibali chako. Wale ambao wameajairiwa ninaomba baba ukaweze kuwapa kibali chako (Those who are going to their businesses, may you grant them your favor. Those who are employed, I ask you, Father, to grant them your favor)," another part of her prayer goes.

The video was captioned:

Matatu driver refunds fare to students

In another story, Kenyans showered praise on a Matatu driver attached to Meru Deluxe who was captured refunding students their bus fare and directing them to the appropriate bus to take them home.

This was after Education Cabinet Secretary (CS) Ezekiel Machogu changed the school opening date on short notice.

The Sunday, April 28, night announcement came when students travelling long distances to their respective schools had already started the journey.
