The US-based man was forced to defend himself, noting that he was not clout chasing.

He then placed his passport in a paper shredder and took it out to show his followers the damage that was dealt to his passport.

He carried on with shredding his passport, which got stuck in the shredder.

He claimed that the future was the Kenyan passport.

Speaking to a Kenyan, James Kimani, who has living in the US for over 10 years and is currently in Georgia State, said that there was a delay in the issuing of passports.

Kimani stated that destroying one's passport could be considered a felony.

"There is a backlog at the moment since 2020 in the state of Georgia. There were emergency passports that would be processed within a day, but now there is a delay. There is even a waiting list. He has committed a crime becaue technically that is a crime . If it is a felony, he could never get a passport if he was charged."

In a previous story, Benson reflected on his extensive work history since arriving in the US in 2011.

He revealed that he had served four years in the military before transitioning to corporate employment, including a deployment to Afghanistan.

Despite earning a substantial salary of $12,000 (KSh 1,577,880) per month in his last job, he came to the realization that he was squandering his most precious resource—time.

He admitted that sharing his thoughts on TikTok was unnecessary but felt compelled to express his sentiments.

Benson confessed that he had quit his job in December 2023 to pursue entrepreneurship, recognising that although self-employment might not yield the same financial rewards as being employed, it offers him the freedom to prioritize what truly matters to him.
