A video of a sizzling hot Luhya beauty dancing to the Fwi Fwi Fwi hit song has dazzled social media.

Is Iyanii a Luhya?

Popularly known as Zayn, she kicked off the viral clip with rapid hip gyration moves, to the amazement of her followers.

Dressed in a baby pink jacket with thin blue and red strips by the shoulder that she paired with tight blue jeans, Zayn sweetly sang along to Fwi Fwi Fwi.

She showcased her youthful elegance with her blow-dried natural hairstyle, which she complimented with the joyful dance she recorded in a stunning lounge area.

According to social media users, her looks were to die for, more so for her taste in music and reverence for her Luhya roots.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Fwi Fwi Fwi hitmaker Akhasamba Lukale said he’s been planning to work with Iyanii for a long time.

“We met at the Kenya National Theatre, but the pandemic forced us to postpone our project.”

Akhasamba eventually recorded a demo and sent it to Iyanii, who was impressed by the song.

The rapper admitted that fans received the song well.

“Many people are surprised that Iyanii is a Luhya.”

Akhasamba, who has worked with other notable artistes, including Wakadinali’s Scar, said he has more projects with Iyanii.

“I have also worked with Bien Baraza and contacted other Luhya artistes. I want people to embrace our culture and take it internationally. Nigerians have done it as they sing in their native languages.

How did Akhasamba Lukale go viral?

Akhasambe became an online sensation after partaking in the Odinare challenge by Khaligraph Jones.

A video of the vernacular rapper rhyming effortlessly wowed many netizens, with some crowning him the Luhya king of hip-hop.

The rapper, who worked at a carwash in Nairobi, spoke to TUKO.co.ke about giving up on music before the viral rap gave him much-needed encouragement.
