Man Confused After Girlfriend Locks Herself In Room, Blocks Him For Spending Time With His Kids

A Kenyan man has turned to netizens for advice about his turbulent relationship with a 24-year-old woman.

In an anonymous message sent to TikTok user @hannanoons, the 38-year-old man shared his distressing experience and asked for guidance on whether to continue the relationship.

What happened between the man and his girlfriend?

The man began dating the young woman after breaking up with his ex-wife, who lives in Mombasa with their children.

Due to the distance, he rarely gets to see his kids. Recently, when his children visited him briefly, an incident made him question his relationship with his new girlfriend.

In his message, the man explained that his children were visiting briefly before returning to Mombasa.

He had only two hours to spend with them, so he brought them to his house to make the most of the limited time.

However, his 24-year-old girlfriend was not happy with the attention he was giving to his kids. She locked herself in the bedroom and cried for the entire two hours they were there.

The man recounted:

"I'm dating a 24-year-old, as you call them 'babe,' but sometimes I struggle. I'm 38. My kids live in Mombasa with my ex-wife. The last time I saw my kids was in December. They were dropped off at 11 am, and I was to drop them off at the SGR station by 1pm. This babe locked herself in the bedroom for two hours. When she opened the door to give me the car keys, her eyes were bloodshot, ati I was giving my kids too much attention. And she loves attention...I was bonding with my sons for two hours."

What did the lady do after the kids left?

After this incident, the girlfriend blocked him and did not communicate with him for a week.

She only recently unblocked him, which led the man to suspect that she might want money from him.

He shared his concerns as he contemplated ending the relationship.

"She blocked me for a week. Just yesterday, she unblocked me to say morning. I'm guessing she wants money. My boys told me to block and not unblock, but I think I should end it. I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on this," he said.

Elsewhere, a fight has ensued in the Nairobi Central Business District (CBD) between two men after one discovered that he had spent money on a man instead of a woman to have a cosy session.

In a video shared on X by journalist Phillip Etale, the two shirtless men were seen fighting aggressively, writhing on the ground, with the one in a bra giving the fight of his life.

People gathered around the scene were baffled by the fight, with many wondering why one of the men was in a bra.

They kept reminding him that he was in the undergarment, but he did not pay heed to them, as he was determined to defend himself from his aggressor.
