In an exclusive with TUKO.co.ke, the hitmaker noted that since students were on break, they needed to be cautious of the company they kept.

She said:

"It's about peer pressure, I was Dedicating to our youth since they are on holiday. Sukuriendi/sukuriendung is a Marakwet word meaning sheuri yako."

The musician advised the youth to be careful of the moves they made and to be respectful

"Feel loved. Be cautious in every move you make. Be determined. Respect can't be purchased (not found on shelves in supermarkets ) God bless you."

Marakwet Daughter's warning to DJs

During an interview with Tuko's King'ori Wangechi, the songstress accused Kenyan DJs of exploiting her.

She said they frequently upload her viral song, Mali Safi Chito, to their YouTube channels, which she finds unacceptable.

Pointing a finger at the camera, the singer warned the DJs that they should never include her song in their YouTube mixes.

She explained that she put a lot of effort into making the song and, as such, feels like the DJs are profiting off her hard work.
