The lovebirds have missed their bonding activity since their third-born son was moved onto solid foods.

"I was breastfeeding both my son and my husband, and then one day, my son was just no longer interested in my breast milk at all," Rachel said.

As much as she continued feeding Alexander for about two weeks, her body stopped producing milk.

Racheal receives odd requests from strangers

Since admitting she breastfeeds her husband, Rachel has been approached with some odd requests from strangers on the internet.

The first request is from people asking if they can buy her breastmilk; others want them to make videos of themselves.

I have even had people asking if they can meet up with me so that I can breastfeed them, too,” she said.

Given that having a fourth child is a massive commitment, the couple is working on other ways to connect.

Tanzanian women complain men share breastmilk with babies

In an earlier story, the Tanzanian government raised concern over a section of men who discovered a unique liking for breastmilk.

For this reason, they started competing with their toddlers to get a share of the milk, something authorities warned them to stop.

The government expressed that the practice is denying the children the much-needed nutrients, leaving them with malnutrition.

According to Handeni District Commissioner Toba Nguvila, this practice stems from a misguided assumption that breastmilk gives some form of power.
