Teachers have played a crucial role in warmly welcoming pupils back, while other schools have gone the extra mile.

A high-end school has hired people dressed up like famous cartoon characters as they welcome pupils back.

People dressed like Mickey Mouse, Easter Bunny

The pupils had a blast. Most could not help but smile when they saw the cartoon characters, most notably one dressed like Mickey Mouse.

Some pupils were lucky to take photos with the cartoon characters, including the Easter Bunny; others enjoyed warm hugs, as seen in the pictures.

It was a lively moment for the kids whose eyes lit up when they saw the cartoon characters as they returned to school.

Other kids did not seem hurrying to leave as they hung around the cartoon characters, seemingly enjoying their company.
