The mother of one vividly narrated the two accounts in which she lost her bundles of joy on different occasions.

"I remember the first baby I gave birth to, I struggled to deliver, just like the second too. It was not easy as it was my first time. I did not have complications or any underlying issues, but I laboured. The doctor told me the baby turned, and instead of facing or coming out with the head, the baby came out with the feet," she shared.

Why was Mwihaki's child taken to nursery?

Mwihaki also noted the baby did not cry after birth and was immediately taken to the nursery as the mother rested.

The then-first-time mum heartbreaking said her baby died after two days in the nursery, with the doctors saying the baby was tired after birth.

"My husband had only come once to the hospital, and when he heard the news, he went back home. I had to talk to the doctors and ask for help since I did not have any. It was the same case for the second baby who died after birth," she said.

Why was Nakuru woman thrown out?

When the Nakuru lady got pregnant for the third time, her in-laws had already decided to cut ties with her.

They said she was cursed as she lost two babies back-to-back and did not want a curse in their home.

"I remember one of my husband's sisters packing my clothes and throwing me out of the house where I lived with my man. She told me she never liked me and would look for a suitable woman for her brother. Even my mother-in-law joined her and said I should never be seen next to her son. She told me to take my curse far from their family," she heartbreakingly said, adding she was mercillesly thrown out of the house.

Mwihaki successfully gave birth to a third child, a boy, and was compelled to care for him single-handedly.

In a brief interview with TUKO.co.ke, Mildred Achieng shared her thoughts on women being kicked out because they could not conceive.

"I find it degrading because we do not have a button where we switch on and off our potential to conceive and carry pregnancy to term and ensure the babies are healthy. It is all God's doing. I would even advocate for men to be interrogated because only women get the stick when something goes wrong about conception and pregnancy," she said.

Why was Naivasha woman kicked out?

In another story, a woman opened up about her motherhood challenges that rendered her homeless and single.

Grace Muthoni said her 10-year marriage came to an abrupt end after she could no longer give birth.

She had already given birth to five children, but three of them, whom she birthed in different years, passed away.

The Naivasha woman said her husband and her mother-in-law mercilessly kicked her out after she could not conceive anymore.
